This is a high quality brush with a solid redwood handle. The vegan, synthetic hairs are soft, rounded and skinfriendly. Because we do not use animal hair in our brushes, people with an allergy to animal hair, can safely use the Sandstone brushes. The brush does not loose its hairs. Thin brush for applying your eyeliner. All Sandstone eyeshadows can be used as eyeliner if you use them with a wet brush.
